11/8/08: Online store is reopened today after a holiday break.
I had a life changing experience at a 6 day course with Julie Anne Denton at Di Easts studio, and I've come back home ready to make lots of changes. Since I started selling frit my time at the torch has dwindled to almost nothing and many of the skills I learned at the beginning, I am no longer able to do. Lampworking is not like riding a bike, you have to practice and keep practicing to become skilled and remain so. As a result of this I have decided to cut down the time I spend dealing with frit orders. From next Monday (18/8) I will be only posting out orders on 2 days a week instead of every day, the other 3 week days will be spent at the torch. If you have an emergency or need your order by a certain day, please don't hesitate to contact me and I'll do my best to see you get your goods. Otherwise, your order will be sent out either at the start of the week (Monday or Tuesday) or the end of the week (Thursday or Friday). Thank you all for your understanding. SAM xx (sorry about the red text - Mr Site is playing up and I can't change the text colour in any way!!!)
9/7/08 PLEASE NOTE : Until further notice I will not be able to supply frit in JARS in either 25g or 40g sizes. Refills and 80g jars are unaffected. Sorry for the inconvenience.
The jars still appear as available from the drop down menus in the shop as I am hoping to sort the issue out asap. I have had no end of problems with my jar supplier over the last 4 weeks, first they sent me the wrong jars, now it looks like the jars I need are no longer produced. At the moment I am frantically looking for alternatives. Please be patient but if you really need the jars email me before you order.

The dichroic pieces are now listed; http://www.beadysamglass.com/page32.htm
This is a fab way to try out some sparkle without breaking the bank - I bought some dichro when I first started but I was afraid to use it for over a year because it had cost so much! Thankfully I now know that a little goes a long way and even the tiniest of pieces can be applied with tweezers to give your piece sparkle and highlights.
If you see any errors or broken links - please, please tell me! Thanks ;-)

The Gaffer frit is selling well and people seem to like it. It looks like I'm going to be expanding the colour range before long! LOL!
This is a piccy of a Play Tray made up with some of the Gaffer frits - pretty eh?
