Zimmermann Z851 Dense Lilac Rose Cane 100g

94-96 COE

Again a stunning and very special colour rarely seen in the UK.  This colour is a little more purpley-lilac than the Z99 although its hard to tell in rod form. Much more noticable colour difference in frits.
Handpulled cane, mainly slim but some slightly thicker canes too. Approx 4-6 canes per 100g.

Reichenbach Sample Pack
£14.00

Loads of different colours - don't let the photo fool you, the colours look very dark because they are such intense colours.  This is a really good thing, as it means you don't need to use much for a great effect.

You get a pack of approx 325-350g which is about 18-20 rods, rod length approx 12" but diameter varies from very fine rod like stringer, to thicker rods more like standard Moretti. I will add extra rods to get as close to 350g as possible.

Iris green, cherry red, iris blue, opaline pink, iris gold, light tobacco, sea green, gold ruby, aurora reddish, fuchsia, heliotrope, hyacinth (yum), saffron, pale old gold, emerald green, black and iris orange (Raku) and some others. Some of these colours, particularly the red shades, are expensive colours due to the gold used in production, and are rarely offered in sample packs for this reason.

All this glass is 92-94COE and can be used successfully with 104 when used sparingly in the same way you would use a frit.  It can of course be used with abandon when used on its own. Try dotting some of the colours over opal yellow dots, or a pale pink.  You will probably find that Ivory reacts strongly with many of these colours, and you can get a lot of brown, non reactive colours work best as a base.
