This site belongs to Caroline Hannon who makes some lovely ethereal sets of beads, focal beads and fused pendants. She also makes some lovely jewellery so go have a look!

This is Isabelle Anderson's site. She makes beautiful beads that somehow have a gentle and comforting feel to them. This is probably because her beads are so obviously inspired by the beauty we see around us every day in nature. While there is a warmth to her work, there is also drama and passion, again, just as we see in the natural world.

This is a sophisticated and grown-up site, with elegant and dignified beads that are a little different and definately unique. Having said that, Manda has a sense of fun that shines through on every page and in every bead. She also teaches lampworking, so if you go to play with her, I'm sure you'll have buckets of fun and learn loads too. The Buddy beads that Manda makes are so adorable, and they have so much character if you buy one (or two, or three) you'll end up talking to them ....well I would anyway! Go see what you think...

Lesley makes the most stunning focal lampworked beads. Her use of colour is inspiring and uplifting. Somehow she manages to combine clean lines with an organic use of color and texture. Her beads have depth and and intensity of colour, without ever becoming garish, and they have a vibrancy and glow that makes you go back for another look. Her work is evolving and improving all the time, though its hard to see exactly how its possible for her to improve on such amazing works of art.

Clare makes dramatic and funky beads in bright and bold colours. Her heart pendants are unusual and amusing and her range of jewellery is contemporary and fresh.

A few months ago I would have said this forum is not for the faint hearted but it has really settled down and developed a strong but mellow identity. It was started as a bitch-fest to talk about `issues' within the glass world, and things often became nasty but it has become just a forum where honesty is valued. If you want constructive criticism, this is the place to visit...

This is a great resource for lampworkers with an efficient search facility that helps you find the answers to all those questions we all ask at sometime or another. There is loads of tutorials, a Garage Sale room for second user equipment and loads more. It is US based but has members from all over the world.

Fun Stuff - Sorry, nothing to do with glass, just places I like to visit!

This is a fab band! My hubby and I used to watch them live way back when, and they have just improved, and improved, and improved. All the band members are great fun and if ever you get to see them at a festival or street event, you must go. You'll have your feet tapping, hips swaying and a grin on your face before you know it! Daz Jones and the rest of the Real macaws are a real treat, pop onto their site and listen to some of their tracks if you don't believe me! Oh, and they are even better live....
